Go Home Gorgeous: Luxury Postpartum Care and Sleep Relief

Post Partum Health Information

While it is possible to prepare yourself for the changes you will experience during your pregnancy, you just won’t know exactly what your post partum needs will be until your beautiful baby is born. How many stitches will you have? Where will they be? How will you actually feel? Many people have equated going through labor to feeling like they had been in a car accident. Every muscle in your body will have been strained and challenged. Not to mention the emotional aspect of becoming a mother, and returning to a non-pregnant state. There is a lot going on and too many women feel unprepared for their own physical and emotional needs during the post partum period. While it is important to stay positive, simply employing ‘wishful thinking’ isn’t an effective way to plan for your recovery. Expect to be tired, plan to feel messy, know that you are going to snap at the people you love and it will make you cry. Plan for what you will do when you are so delirious from lack of sleep that you cannot function, don’t just hope it won’t happen. Go Home Gorgeous offers many different Spa services, support packages, gorgeous gift boxes and retreats to help you feel better, more confident and strong as you embrace new motherhood.

First Time Mothers will benefit from the in-hospital Postnatal Body Therapy because they tend to be very anxious and nervous having never had a baby before. First time mothers also tend to labor the longer than veteran mamas and can be much more sore, and exhausted because of it. The Go Home Gorgeous Postnatal Body Therapy can ease their stress, relax them and give them pause to gather their strength and confidence.  Our gift boxes are especially lovely and helpful for the physical ramifications of a first time mother. Many of our Night Nannies are trained as lactation experts and post partum doulas. They can be a godsend for an exhausted new mom.

Second Time Mothers go through a whole different experience. Their labor might be easier and their confidence higher knowing what worked/didn’t work for them the first time around but a lot of pressure is put on second time mothers in their concern for their first child. Will they be jealous, feel neglected? How will it be possible to love them both and give them what they need, especially when their needs are so different? The gift box for mothers with other children takes those concerns to heart and incorporated different items to help with that stress. The gift of the In-Hospital Postnatal Body Therapy can be very helpful to second time mom as it is probably the last pause that she will have for a while as she divides her time between her two children.

Mothers With Three or more children;  It’s kind of like a sense of peace settles in. You realize you can do it; love them all, give them what they need, make it work…but that peace is commonly followed by a wave of dread as you realize that your needs are falling further and further down on your to-do list. How am I going to do this with THREE? Or FOUR?  Luckily for those of you are having your first second, third, fourth, tenth Go Home Gorgeous knows exactly what you have been through and we will see to it through our in-hospital Postnatal Body Therapy that you leave the hospital relaxed, calm, and ready. Plus seriously by now you probably has just about everything you need for the baby. All you really need is a moment to yourself!

Adoptive Parents need as much support, understanding and meals as any other parent. Many studies have shown that the more time a new family spends together the faster and stronger their bond will be. That can present a challenge for newly adopted parents who may not be comfortable having babysitters, family or neighbors to help with the immediate needs of their baby.  Even the simplest things can be challenging, like making dinner, or tending to the housework.  Call us.  We had you in mind when we created the Day Break package.  We are also happy to customize our postpartum gift box to help newly adopted parents feel supported, hydrated and calm as they begin their journey into parenting!
